Bass Pro Shops: The Strike Bundle with Fishing Rod

I have had 2 copies of Bass Pro Shops: The Strike and both games will not load into the Wii game system. I checked onther games and no problem.
The worst problem of all is that there is no support anywhere to find a solution to this loading problem. Nothing at the Bass Pro Shops web site, nothing at the game developers web site.
I have returned the copy I purchased from Amazon.
Great looking game, extremely poor launch of the game.

I completely understand some of the negative reviews I’ve read, but despite the drawbacks this can actually be a very enjoyable game. I gave it as a gift to a relative and the whole family spent a fun afternoon playing it. The casting is apparently an acquired skill, since some of us were very adept at it and others couldn’t quite figure it out. Even the two 7-yr-olds that played it loved it. While this is better than an arcade-style fishing game, if you’re looking to recreate the real fishing experience you might be disappointed. Nonetheless, I think there is enough realism in the tackle and bait to add some small element of skill to the game, and the mystery of seeing what size and species of fish you’re going to hook makes for fun competition.

very good graphics, easy to learn to use. Bought for the grand kids 2 and 4, a bit too advanced for them.

It is hard to get used to, but soon as you get the swing it is really fun!

The game itself is average. The pole is absolutley worhless. The handle for the reel is used to steer the boat not reel in the fish! In my opinion it was totally false advertizing of this product. Considering the price for the game and the pole and comparing it to other games that dont use the pole its a comlete rip off.
