My 7 yr. old granddaughter got this for her birthday last summer. She loved it so much and was upset when it broke. She wanted another one for Christmas which we bought for her. She was excited.

My daughter (who is almost 5) LOVES Barbie but is not at all interested in this game. She has difficulty even controlling Barbie when she walks. After that she didn’t even want to try controlling the horse. My husband played the game to try and get our daughter interested but even he had difficulty. It didn’t take long for him to get frustrated and give up on the game as well.

I bought this game for my 5 year old neice who had never played a Wii before. The reviews I read made it sound like it would be simple enough for her to play but it’s not. It is very hard to control the Barbie character, I had trouble with it myself. All she wanted to do was pick out clothes and horses and after that she lost interest, and so did I. I would recommend this for an older child, maybe 10-12 years old and with lots of Wii experience.

We already had this game for her DS and she really liked it. So I got this one for her and she screamed with excitement when she saw it. She loves all things Barbie and she loves horses even more. It seems a little blah for a grown-up but she really enjoys it.
