First it is not easy to assemble, the screws don’t fit well.
The idea is great, but I didn’t had the chance to use it yet.
When I put it out of its plastic wrap, a horrible smell did occur that gave me a heavy headache.
So I assembled it outside – and there it has to stay for I think at least three days.
If the smell does not disappear, I have return it for being harmful for your health.
Made in China – explained this smell.

It’s a good idea, just not implemented real well. Could have been made to a higher standard. Not really worth $25. Go to home depot and get some wood and make a box or get a real aerobic step and put it under it for a better effect. 2 stars for the idea, -3 for the cheap plastic.

They obviously didn’t try their product after designing it. The accuracy is way off. I know I didn’t lose 17 lbs overnight and the steps are not registering properly.

It’s ok but it doesn’t work well with the Wii Fit. It doesn’t register your steps all of the time. I still use it because it does give you a higher base for step aerobics.

I agree with the other reviews here.
Pros:
1) The step increases the intensity of the workout.
2) The product is solid and the board is stable when you are on it.
Cons:
1) The holes on the step are too deep and don’t register correctly without a little modification.
Not the fault of Everlast:
1) Wii games don’t let you adjust for the fact that you are on a 3″ step so the calorie burn numbers are even more of a guess than they were before the step.
