A brilliant way to get to understand the complexities of spreadsheets. Also this is a required college program for lots of courses, very handy to have.

Fans of the NBC series THE OFFICE (or even of the original British version) would probably be eagerly expecting this. Well, I am not sure this is something they would want...

THE OFFICE is a classic time-management casual game where one has to deliver colored folders, printed faxes and the like to cubicle-enclosed coworkers. As the game progresses, the tasks get more complicated, the time gets reduced and the computer-controlled competition gets fiercer. Bonuses and combos are sparingly awarded. See you again tomorrow at 9.

To anyone who has experienced games such as DINNER-DASH or PIZZA-FRENZY this is nothing new. They just added big heads of the cast to the characters.

The Office Game is pretty fun. It’s similar to Diner Dash. It’s a lot of fun at first but can get kind of tiring after a while. It’s a great game to keep on hand to play when you have nothing else to do.

It's about time somebody made a game for the hit television show the Office.
This game is a task management game like Diner Dash, but it goes along the hit television show the Office. If you like all the pranks and comedy behind the Office then you will definitely laugh while playing this game.

My favorite part of the game is being able to play pranks on your opponents because it actually uses pranks or scenarios that happened in the show. Rating: 5 / 5

This is what I ordered, but this is not what I got. I got the upgrade only. It does not have these programson it at all. I paid $74.00 for something I all ready have. I was very very dissapointed when I finally got my tower back, I tried to install what I thought was the Office 2000 premium just to be let down. What a waste of money, which I can not afford to loose. So I will just have to consider this a very expensive lesson and not buy an more computer software. Just stick to buying movies. I have had very few bad experiences there. They are not costly either.

Inspite of having XP in its name, Office Developer XP does not completely load on Windows XP. There are problems will Exchange and SQL servers workflows. This product was touted by Microsoft has having a developmental envirnoment, but does so only on a server (which already has the services for this product). Also, Microsoft omitted a web server to be use for development. A few years ago they provided the personal web servicer as a free download, which could use for developing web sites having ASP and Front Page extensions, but the PWS is only for Windows 95/98. Now the independent developer at a minimum has to lease space on a provider’s web server.

Furthermore, the product interfers with Visual Basic 6. Office somehow tries to re-install itself when Visual Basic is ran. It prevents Visual Basic from opening existing projects.

Save yourself the money, if you need to get Office XP buy the standard or professional. You’ll will probably need the cash to upgrade Visual Basic and/or rent server space.

…If you’re an intense Access or Excel macro user, you might want to go with this.

Anyone else can get go to openoffice.org and download that office suite instead. Or get StarOffice here. You can do so many of the same things. Open or create Word files, do all the stuff you can do in Word, save’em back as Word format or not. Make web pages. Do mail merges, hooked up to any database you want. Do presentations. Impress is the PowerPoint equivalent and reads those file formats. It’s got good effects and animation. Do all the spreadsheets you want. The Excel equivalent handles Excel formats and lets you save back out in that format or not.

And the openoffice and staroffice file sizes are tiny. If you’ve ever been really annoyed by bloated MS Office file sizes, you are going to love openoffice or staroffice. Really small files.

Put the money in your 401k. Skip MS Office.
